Students are careful before doing the payment if you want to join in IGNOU or not. Once the students paid the IGNOU admission IGNOU fees will not be refunded for any cost as per the IGNOU university rules and regulations. IGNOU RC – Regional Centers. So just carefully do the fees payment process.

And there is no refund rules are available in IGNOU but the only thing is the fund will not be provided to the students once they paid. Refunding policies may be similar for IGNOU 33rd Convocation 2020 as well.

    I am Monika from Chandigarh, I submit my form for master of Arts(Political science) in february 2021 and from last 2 month their is nooo updation regarding my admission, also i dont receive any message or email . I called in March and discuss with your department reg. cancellation process and everything. they take my control number and confirm me that ,’ this is our mistake we are late to check your application and they also said that,’ Kindly send us email of cancellation of admission and refund of Rs. 6300/-. ‘ and I also do it same as per they confirm me.
    But I also called them and send 2-3 times emails for refund of my money they said wait it is in process and we refund u in 20-30 days i said ok.
    Now i check my admission portal my admission in confirmed and i received my id card but I already send email reg, refund and cancellation.

    Can u please confirm me in this case how can i get my refund as this is your department fault I also have all evidences on email and call records .

    sabhi document upload kar diye hain but degree ka option aa raha hain site par .jis wajeh se mera online from complete nahi ho pa raha hain.

    • Refund of Fee
      If a student applies for cancellation of admission and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the University policy as under:
      a. Before the last date for submission of admission form-the fee paid will be refunded after deduction of Rs.200/-
      b. Within 15 days from the last date for submission of admission form-the fee paid will be refunded after deduction of Rs.500/-
      c. Within 30 days from the last date for submission of admission form-the fee paid will be refunded after deduction of Rs.1,000/-.
      d. After 30 days from the closure of the last date- No refund will be allowed.
      e. The last dates for submission of admission form will be considered separately i.e. last date without late fee and last date with late fee. However, late fee, if any, will not be refunded.
      f. In cases of (a) to (c) above, the candidate will make a written request to the Regional Director concerned for such a refund. The RC will process the cases as soon as possible after ascertaining the credit of the same in IGNOU Accounts.

          As per the official statement “Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. It is also not adjustable against any other programme of this university. However, in case where University denies admission, the programme fee will be refunded after deduction of registration fee through a/c payee cheque only.”

    I have cleared the OpenMat XLIV and opting for MBA programme.
    The fee should be 1800/- per course? As per the prospectus, one should go for minimum 5 courses in Semester-I.
    That means 1800*5=9000

    Do we need to submit the Demand draft of Rs.9000/- INR to IGNOU Regional Centre for Semester-I?

  23. sir, I qualified for openmat xliv. I want to take admission on this january session 2019. Can i write my first semester term end exams on december 2019, by submitting the first semester assignments before june. I cant attend first sem TEE on june. Because iam going to abroad on june first week and will be back on August last week. Can you please provide the information about assignment submission and term end exams.

    • MP/MBA Program:
      *must qualify OpenMat for admission.
      You are allowed to take 4 subjects in a semester, completing 20 subjects will get you your MBA degree.
      To clear the semester, first register your 4 subject in a respective semester, complete their assignmnts and submit them on time at your study centre. Afterwards fill your examination form with only those subject for which you have submitted your assignments.
      *Exam will become invalid if you have not submitted assignment for the same subject.
      *Not all the subjects are available in all semesters.. hence choose wisely which subject to opt.
      *For your query..
      register for those subjects which are offered in the both semester, submit assignments of those before june.. then fill examination for in nov so that you can appear for term end examination (TEE) in december.

  32. I did my MBA in Finance and it was completed in the year 2015 and ms-100 subject clears in 2016 end. now may I apply for Degree and how, I get degree on 31st convocation of Ignou or not and how to download the form and it’s provided by courier by IGNOU regional office from Ahemdabad.
    During MBA( MP) course how many certificate we get?
    I got 4 provisions certificates
    1. Diploma in Mgt
    2. P.G. Diploma in Mgt ( ADIM)
    3. Post Graduate diploma in finance Management
    4. Masters of Business Administration.
    &
    I got 3 Certificates
    1. Diploma In Mgt.
