UGC has clarified that all universities must conduct Final Year or Terminal Semester Examinations before 31st August 2021. While for Internal Year or Semester, UGC has also clarified that it completely is a choice of Universities, they may or may not conduct 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Examinations. If universities are not going to conduct the examinations, then 50% marks shall be allotted to Internal Assessment and 50% marks shall be allotted to previous semester/year performance of the student.

The best part of the notice is that IGNOU has already clarified the students who were supposed to take December 2021 Term End Examinations after having done the registration until September 2021. The exact statement in the notification said: “The students who could not appear in the Term End Examination, June 2021 (held in September 2021) and the students, who are registering for the Term End Examination, December 2021 (to be held in February 2021 and their validity of the registration is expiring in December 2021, for this purpose, their validity of registration has been extended up to June 2021 as a one time measure.)”

www.ignou.ac.in – IGNOU FINAL YEAR RESULT NEWS!: February 2021, Indira Gandhi National Open University has confirmed that now it is open to ‘Provisional Admission.’ And, this finally has occurred as good/relief news to the IGNOU Final Year Students who are taking exams this year.

As a part of the written notice, Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the examination process of all the educational institutions in the country has been affected and the declaration of results has been delayed. As a result of this, students aspiring to join higher education are not able to produce the results of their qualifying examination.

To provide relief to such aspiring students and in keeping with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, the following has been decided: Applicants, who have applied for various academic programmes of the University in the July 2021 admission cycle, shall be granted Provisional Admission subject to the following conditions.

Applicants of programmes for which the eligibility requirement for admission is a Bachelor degree, have passed the 2nd Year / 5th Semester of the Bachelor degree and have submitted the marks sheet in support of the above.

Applicants of Programmes for which the eligibility requirement is 10+2/ equivalent have appeared in the 10+2/equivalent examination conducted by the respective School Board in 2021, and their results are awaited.

All applicants who are provided Provisional Admission shall be required to submit the pass certificate of the qualifying examination latest by April 2021, failing which their admission shall be cancelled and the fee shall be refunded as per rules.

Indira Gandhi National Open University has updated the status for Re-Admission. All those students who applied for Re-Admission can again now check their latest status. 

Grade Cards for IGNOU December Term End Examination is also updated now. IGNOU Term End December 2019 Exam Result and Revaluation Result, both have again been updated in 2021.

Chandigarh Regional Center has again updated its Google Form for Assignment Submission. Delhi-3 and Delhi-2 Regional Center have once again updated the Assignment Submission Email IDs. Must check on the Official Website. www. project upload.ac.in is the new website to upload Project Submissions. Both Assignment Submission Last Dates and Project Submission Last Dates have been extended to 15th June 2021.

Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development has recently confirmed that IGNOU will convert 56 of its Open and Distance Learning Programmes to Online Programmes (Soon).
